Volleyball Recap: Malvern Takes a Loss

Malvern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairless Falcons. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20.

Addison Mitchell paced Malvern's offense, picking up six kills. Mitchell got some help from Ashlyn Bush and her eight assists.

Fairless can attribute much of their success to Morgan Burdge, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Malvern's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fairless, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Malvern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Ridgewood on the 19th. As for Fairless, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Green on the 18th.
