Baseball Game Preview: Orchard Park Quakers vs. Frontier Falcons

The Orchard Park Quakers will face off against the Frontier Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orchard Park has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Orchard Park came into their game on Sunday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-1 to McQuaid Jesuit. The contest marked the Quakers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Frontier didn't have quite enough to beat Lancaster on Monday and fell 3-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frontier saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Hediger, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

With the defeat, Orchard Park broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Frontier, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Orchard Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Frontier in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Quakers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
