Manning had lost five straight headed into Friday's game, but Ameerah Conyers didn't let it get to six. The Monarchs skirted past the Mullins Auctioneers 65-62 with plenty of help from Conyers, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 20 rebounds. Her big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Manning's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Mullins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Manning is set to take on their familiar foe Atlantic Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mullins will challenge rival East Clarendon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
