Basketball Recap: Cherryvale Chargers vs. Neodesha Blue Streaks
The Cherryvale Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 97-33 loss at the hands of Neodesha. Cherryvale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-17.
Cherryvale's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Landon Fox, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Westen Erbe who scored eight points.
Cherryvale has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Neodesha, their victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-9.
