Basketball Recap: Nashua North Takes a Loss

Nashua North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 67-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Portsmouth Clippers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Titans have suffered against the Clippers since February 1, 2018.

Nashua North's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Portsmouth, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

When Nashua North and Portsmouth next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Nashua North will try to stop Nashua South's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Portsmouth will square off against Keene and their nine-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
