Seligman had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 win over the Ash Fork Spartans on Wednesday. The Antelopes haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Ash Fork lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Miclo Ayala, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 19 points and five rebounds. Jesus Ayala was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Seligman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-46 win against Music Mountain on the 20th. As for Ash Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-22 defeat against Bagdad on the 24th.
