Baseball Recap: Hatley Comes Up Short

Hatley managed to slip by Baldwyn the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Bearcats on Friday, falling 13-3.

Hatley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan George, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Hatley's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Baldwyn, their record now sits at 11-13-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hatley will head out to challenge Shannon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.11 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Baldwyn, they will head out on the road to face off against Pine Grove at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight.
