Basketball Game Recap: Sanford vs. Ursuline Academy

On Wednesday, the Ursuline Academy Raiders were out to avenge their 53-36 defeat to the Sanford Warriors from their previous meeting last February, but they had no such luck. Ursuline Academy was completely outmatched by Sanford on the road and fell 63-28. That's the fewest points the Raiders have scored all season.

Ursuline Academy's loss pushed them down to 6-10. The victory bumped Sanford's record up to 17-2.

Ursuline Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Dover on Monday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest. Sanford will stay at home against Caravel on Monday.
