Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Grove's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Pleasant Grove's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Copper Hills Grizzlies. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Pleasant Grove walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 26-28, 25-14.

Pleasant Grove's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Copper Hills, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasant Grove will host American Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Cavemen at the right time seeing as the Cavemen are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Copper Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Riverton at 6:30 p.m. The Silverwolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
