Basketball Game Preview: Kenton Wildcats vs. Wauseon Indians

The Kenton Wildcats will square off against the Wauseon Indians at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kenton comes in on three and Wauseon on seven.

Kenton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Memorial 60-37. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wauseon slipped by Bryan 46-45 on Wednesday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 222nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kenton's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points over those games. As for Wauseon, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.
