Volleyball Recap: Franklin Takes Down North Lincoln in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Franklin rose to the challenge on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the North Lincoln Knights. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Lass Ward, who had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches.

Ward wasn't the only good servers: Franklin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive contests.

Franklin's record now sits at 27-3. As for North Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 22-7.

Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Carson on the 25th. North Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
