Basketball Recap: Covington Chargers vs. Millington Central Trojans
Covington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millington Central Trojans. Despite the loss, Covington saw an underclassman step up: sophomore TaKyra Boddie posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Boddie is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.
