Volleyball Recap: JW North Comes Up Short

JW North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Ramona Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

JW North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Julian Sanchez, who had nine digs and two aces.

JW North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Ramona, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

JW North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Rancho Alamitos on the 27th. As for Ramona, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Vista del Lago on the 27th.
