Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Timberline

After losing to White River the last time they met, Timberline decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blazers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hornets on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Blazers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Timberline was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Timberline can attribute much of their success to Islee Rebelez, who had 17 digs and one assist. Those 17 digs gave Rebelez a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why White River lost, don't look at Ema Froemke. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and five assists. Froemke is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Timberline's win bumped their record up to 29-8-1. As for White River, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-5.

As of now, neither Timberline nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
