Tahlequah proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by five) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Wagoner Bulldogs 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Tahlequah now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wagoner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tahlequah will host Locust Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wagoner, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atoka at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
