Basketball Game Preview: Winfield Vikings vs. Mulvane Wildcats

Winfield hasn't had much luck against Mulvane recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Winfield is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game back in December of 2024. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Augusta.

Meanwhile, Mulvane was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 62-57 to Buhler. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mulvane's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Winfield, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Things could have been worse for Winfield, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 73-54 loss to Mulvane when the teams last played back in February of 2024.
