Softball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Dalton hit Perry with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Dalton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Perry will be playing in front of their home fans against McKinley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dalton, they will venture away from home to take on Hillsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
