Barrett Baker posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk).

Baker's effort led West Potomac over Lake Braddock and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
