Soccer Recap: Toppenish Comes Up Short

Toppenish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Othello Huskies. If Toppenish were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to Othello when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Toppenish's record is now 1-8. As for Othello, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4-1 and their overall record up to 3-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Toppenish will challenge rival Quincy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Othello is set to face off against their familiar foe Selah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
