Basketball Recap: The Ambrose School Comes Up Short

The Ambrose School was the 41-28 winner over Marsing when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Ambrose School Archers took a 40-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marsing Huskies on Monday. The Archers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marsing's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adyson Chadez led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Chadez a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Raylynn Vanosdall, who posted 14 points and three steals.

The Ambrose School now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Marsing, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.

The Ambrose School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-33 defeat against Melba on the 29th. As for Marsing, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-27 victory against Nampa Christian on the 29th.
