Baseball Recap: Ulysses Tigers vs. Cimarron Bluejays
Ulysses was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cimarron Bluejays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 on Tuesday.
Camilo Medina made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Edrehik Hernandez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Ulysses' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cimarron, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Coincidentally, Ulysses and Cimarron will both be playing Hugoton the next time they take the field. The Bluejays will host the Eagles on Thursday, while the Tigers will host them on Tuesday.
