Recap: St. Louis Catholic Saints vs. Jennings Bulldogs
There's no place like home for The St. Louis Catholic Saints, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They didn't even let Jennings onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as St. Louis Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Luke Pierson threw for 115 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Andrew Svarney was his top target, picking up 75 receiving yards. On the ground, Graham Montet rushed for 91 yards.
St. Louis Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Jennings, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Louis Catholic will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McDonogh 35 at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. As for Jennings, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Kaplan at 7:00 p.m. The last four games Kaplan has played have been within five points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
