Basketball Recap: Jonesboro Takes a Loss

Jonesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Bryant Hornets 67-23. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricane this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-28 back in January.

Jonesboro's record is now 4-16. As for Bryant, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Jonesboro and Bryant could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Jonesboro will challenge North Little Rock at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th down 119 places (136 vs. 17). Meanwhile, Bryant (ranked 47th) will meet Central (ranked ninth) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
