Guyer can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Little Elm Lobos. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Guyer took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-8, 25-6.

Annabelle Muzzarelli paced Guyer's offense, picking up 12 kills. Muzzarelli got some help from Chloe Marenic and her 35 assists.

Guyer's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 13-13. As for Little Elm, they dropped their record down to 12-16 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
