Calvary Christian came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 63-58 victory over the Mitchell Mustangs. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 71-55 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Mitchell still got an impressive performance from Eli Wilson, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fillipe Frangie, who posted eight points in addition to 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mitchell, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will host IMG Academy Regional at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Calvary Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. As for Mitchell, they will welcome Palm Harbor University at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
