Volleyball Recap: West Shores Comes Up Short

West Shores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Brawley. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Brawley this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.

West Shores' record is now 2-11. As for Brawley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-21 record this season.

West Shores and Brawley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Wildcats see the court they'll take on Holtville at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Brawley, their break will end when they face Calexico Mission at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
