David Emanuel Academy barely beat Thomas Jefferson Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Jaguars 9-3 on Friday. Considering the Eagles have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Richard Braddy, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Free, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: David Emanuel Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

David Emanuel Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games.
