Recap: South Florence Bruins vs. West Florence Knights
The South Florence Bruins won the last time they faced the West Florence Knights, and things went their way on Friday too. South Florence came out on top against West Florence by a score of 55-47.
Jada Montgomery was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with three steals. Amari Gamble was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five assists and two steals.
South Florence is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for West Florence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Florence will challenge Hartsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartsville is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for West Florence, they will head out on the road to take on Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
