Baseball Recap: Fort Payne Comes Up Short

Fort Payne fell victim to Sardis and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Sardis Lions. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fort Payne's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Sardis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Coming up, Fort Payne will face off against Albertville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sardis, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Sardis Lions duke it out with Southside Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
