Baseball Game Preview: Hilbert Wolves vs. Kohler Blue Bombers

The Hilbert Wolves will venture away from home to face off against the Kohler Blue Bombers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Hilbert didn't have quite enough to beat Reedsville and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

Hilbert saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maverick Breckheimer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Kohler came out on top against Oostburg on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run third inning. The Blue Bombers blew past the Flying Dutchman 13-3. The Blue Bombers haven't had any issues with the Flying Dutchman recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kohler's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Hilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
