Basketball Recap: Gary West Side Takes a Loss

If Gary West Side was riding high fresh off their 44-5 takedown of 21st Century Charter on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars were beaten by the Munster Mustangs 55-15 on Saturday. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Munster's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amelia Ramirez, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arroya Mongerie, who earned nine points and three steals.

Gary West Side now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Munster, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
