Softball Recap: Sumner-Fredericksburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against AGWSR on Friday, Sumner-Fredericksburg came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 10-3 to the Gilbert Tigers on Saturday.

Sumner-Fredericksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Gilbert, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Sumner-Fredericksburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-4 victory against South Hardin on the 14th. As for Gilbert, they will welcome Boone at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
