Basketball Recap: Patrick Henry takes loss despite strong efforts from Sophie Guelde and Kya Seemann

Basketball Recap: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. Fairview Apaches
The Patrick Henry Patriots lost against the Fairview Apaches back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Patrick Henry was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Apaches. Patrick Henry has not had much luck with the Apaches recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Kya Seemann and Sophie Guelde certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Seemann scored 13 points, while Guelde scored ten points along with two steals. Guelde continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kenzie Prigge was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Patrick Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Fairview, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.
Patrick Henry will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
