Noah Hanohano posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Hanohano and Newark Memorial will head out on the road to challenge American at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Hanohano's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cougars' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Hanohano and the Cougars surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
