Volleyball Recap: Jeffersontown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jeffersontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mercy Jaguars. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Jaguars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Olivia Duncan, who had 13 assists and two aces. Those 13 assists gave her a new career-high. Winter Smith also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Jeffersontown's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mercy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Jeffersontown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Fairdale on the 26th. As for Mercy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Sacred Heart on the 28th.
