Softball Recap: Windsor Central Takes a Loss

Windsor Central lost against Owego Free Academy last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Black Knights fell just short of the River Hawks by a score of 6-5. The Black Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sonyea Knapp was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Addyson Guarino, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Windsor Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Owego Free Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Central will head out to face off against Oneonta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Owego Free Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Seton Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
