Volleyball Recap: Micah Kholodenko Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Foreman

Prosser won the last time they faced Foreman and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Prosser easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-8.

Prosser's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Kholodenko, who had five digs, three aces, and two blocks. Kholodenko has been hot, having also posted 15 or more assists the last seven times he's played. Caleb Flores was another key player, getting six aces.

They weren't the only good server: Prosser was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matches.

Prosser's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Foreman, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Prosser will look to defend their home court on Monday against Schurz at 12:00 p.m. As for Foreman, they will face off against Westinghouse at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
