Basketball Game Preview: Edison Wildcats vs. Harrison Central Huskies

Edison hasn't had much luck against Harrison Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Edison will be strutting in after a win while Harrison Central will be coming in after a loss.

Edison is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Madonna on Wednesday as they made off with a 75-54 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 723rd in Ohio, while the Blue Dons are ranked 136th in West Virginia).

Meanwhile, Harrison Central came up short against Toronto on Tuesday and fell 55-45.

Harrison Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Edison might still be hurting after the 51-28 loss they got from Harrison Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
