Baseball Recap: Wayne Valley Comes Up Short

Wayne Valley was the 5-4 winner over Wayne Hills when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday.

Christian Varano was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three runs and two doubles. He has become a key player for Wayne Valley: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Ryan Luzzi was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
