Soccer Game Preview: Arrupe Jesuit vs. Elizabeth

The Arrupe Jesuit Generals will venture away from home to take on the Elizabeth Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Arrupe Jesuit's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Arrupe Jesuit's win against Jefferson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Generals beat the Saints by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Arrupe Jesuit in their matchups with Jefferson: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth came up short against Vista Ridge on Tuesday, falling 11-1. Elizabeth haven't had much luck with Vista Ridge recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Arrupe Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1.
