Volleyball Game Preview: Forge Christian Fury vs. Stargate School Eagles

Forge Christian hasn't had much luck against Stargate School recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Fury will host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Forge Christian got the win against Arrupe Jesuit by a conclusive 3-0.

Forge Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Stargate School posted their closest victory since April 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountain View, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Stargate School had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 17-25, 25-17, 25-20, 18-16.

Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Stargate School, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
