Basketball Game Preview: Early Longhorns vs. Comanche Indians

Early hasn't had much luck against Comanche recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Early Longhorns will take on the Comanche Indians in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Early will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Peaster, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Early was the clear victor by a 42-21 margin over Peaster on Friday. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Comanche came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Mavericks 69-39. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Indians had established a 24 point advantage.

Comanche has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Early, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Early took a serious blow against Comanche in their previous matchup back in February, falling 85-38. Can Early avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
