Volleyball Recap: Lyman Hall Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lyman Hall took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Branford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Hornets 3-2 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lyman Hall who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 25-13, 18-25, 15-9.

Lyman Hall now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Branford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Lyman Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Amity Regional on the 24th. Branford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
