Football Recap: Pine Forest Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Pine Forest kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 25-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gray's Creek Bears. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaidon Moore, who threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Pine Forest's leading receiver Perry Moore was Jaidon's top target yet again, picking up 96 receiving yards and one score.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Forest will venture away from home to take on Terry Sanford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gray's Creek, they will head out to square off against Westover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
