Basketball Recap: Taft Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were beaten by the London Pirates 100-39. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1618th, while the Pirates are ranked 206th).

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for London, their victory was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 32-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Taft is set to challenge their familiar foe West Oso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, London will square off against rival Odem at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
