Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Glass

Heritage is 1-9 against Glass since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pioneers will head out to challenge the Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. Heritage will be strutting in after a win while Glass will be coming in after a loss.

Heritage will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Liberty last Friday. The Pioneers blew past the Minutemen 4-1. Heritage's winning goal came courtesy of Isias Castillo.

Meanwhile, Glass didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty Christian last Friday and fell 3-2. The loss was Glass' first of the season.

Heritage now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Glass, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1-1.

Heritage couldn't quite get it done against Glass when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Pioneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
