Baseball Recap: Lake Travis Comes Up Short

Brandeis hit Lake Travis with a five-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cavaliers fell 7-4 to the Broncos. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Lake Travis now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Brandeis, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lake Travis will venture away from home to square off against Cedar Ridge at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Brandeis, they will take on Flower Mound at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
