Volleyball Recap: Peoria Lions vs. Marquette Catholic Explorers
Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Marquette Catholic Explorers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.
Marquette Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karly Davenport led the charge by getting three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Davenport has posted since back in August.
