Baseball Recap: Union Star's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Union Star came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the South Holt Knights by a score of 8-4 on Friday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Union Star's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for South Holt, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Union Star has already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against Albany on the 28th. As for South Holt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-4 loss against King City on the 25th.
