Softball Recap: Tri Titans vs. Hagerstown Tigers
If Tri was feeling good fresh off their 20-6 takedown of Randolph Southern on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans lost 7-1 to the Hagerstown Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.
Avery Dungan was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. Dungan was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base was her first of the season.
